Welcome to SteadyPrep ("we", "our", "us"). We care deeply about your exam preparation journey. To ensure transparency, this Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use the SteadyPrep mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

SteadyPrep is designed with an offline-first approach. Most data is stored locally on your device. However, we may collect:

• Exam name and preparation preferences you provide during onboarding
• App usage analytics (via Firebase Analytics) — anonymized and aggregated
• Crash reports (via Firebase Crashlytics) to improve stability
• Advertising identifiers for serving relevant ads (via Google AdMob)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information to:

• Generate personalized study plans and quizzes via the Gemini AI API
• Improve app performance and fix crashes
• Show relevant advertisements through Google AdMob
• Understand usage patterns to improve features

4. Data Storage

Your study plans, quiz history, and progress data are stored locally on your device using Hive (offline storage). We do not upload your personal study data to our servers. When you use AI features, exam-related prompts are sent to Google's Gemini API — no personally identifiable information is included in these prompts.

5. Third-Party Services

SteadyPrep uses the following third-party services:

• Google Gemini AI — for generating study plans and quizzes
• Google AdMob — for displaying advertisements
• Firebase Analytics — for anonymized usage analytics
• Firebase Crashlytics — for crash reporting

Each of these services has their own Privacy Policy governing their data use. We recommend reviewing their policies at policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Advertising

The free version of SteadyPrep displays ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your advertising ID and other non-personal data to show relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device's Settings under Google > Ads.

7. Children's Privacy

SteadyPrep is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

8. App Improvement and User Feedback

We continuously strive to improve the App, fix any bugs, improve AI outputs, and reduce inconsistencies in generated content. You can help us by providing feedback directly within the App. Your feedback is essential in helping us build a better tool for everyone.

9. Your Rights

You can delete all your local data at any time by clearing the App's data from your device's system settings or by uninstalling the App. This will remove all locally stored study data from your device.
